I am happy to consider PhD applications from students interested in topics relating to UK politics, Europe, transatlantic relations and international security. I especially welcome prospective students interested in Brexit, the politics of London and global cities, UK foreign, security and defence policies, the operation and nature of the UK state, constitution and political system, the Liberal party and Liberal Democrats, UK-EU relations, European politics, the EU, NATO, transatlantic relations, international security, and strategic thinking.
